Altenbergsteg

Upstream from the Lorraine pool, the Altenbergsteg crosses over the river Aare directly under the Kornhaus bridge. Ideal walking distance for a river swim on the northside of the city. You can enter the river by a number of various spots near the playground or simply by a jump off the small bridge. CAUTION: When you jump off bridges you should always check if there is anything flowing down stream and if the water is deep enough!
